New Technology For Learning: Design

What tasks would it be used for?

The 8320 can be used for emailing after school hours to teachers and students for homework and school-work related subjects. This will really speed up finding peoples phone number, calling, and then finally asking them. It can also be used to finish or make Microsoft related presentations and documents because it has a built in keyboard to make typing be even easier than carrying a laptop around. It can be used to finish work in an overall portable shape and size.

Would all students need one?

Yes, because that is the only way that all students and teachers can interact easily. If only one third of the students have one, then the other two thirds cannot email or help the other students (or be helped) except after school or in their home with a laptop or computer. Although this would work, it would slow down the operation tremendously.

How could the use of the technology add value or improve the lesson?

During lessons, this amazing phone can easily be a phone with a camera for pictures and videos of lessons. It can also be a computer so that we can open blogs about lessons when needed. If each student had their own, we could help each other in blogs because our writing could be wrong, so the students can correct us when we correct them. Also as students we have homework and school-work, we could start and finish work before asked, and get better grades as students.
